GR223 Camí de Cavalls
Trekking, Trail running and MTB cycling
The Camí de Cavalls was built in the 14th century by the Crown of Aragon to allow mounted soldiers to patrol Menorca's entire coastline. For centuries it fell into disuse, reclaimed by scrub and salt wind. In 2010 it was officially restored and declared a Public Utility Path. Today it is one of the Mediterranean's most rewarding multi-day routes: 185 kilometres of raw coast, agricultural interior and ancient geology.
